Peter Nicholas Leutner

Peter is the innovator of the European Klassik Rock project. He is BBC trained and has over 20 years experience in the broadcasting industry. Peter was educated in Canterbury at Kent College and Canterbury College of Technology. He has always had an interest in radio - especially since his parents gave him a "transistor" radio at the age of 8! At 14 he persuaded his parents to let him go to Holland to meet the people involved in Radio Veronica (now a major broadcaster in Holland) and Radio Nordsee in Bussum. He even had a visit on board their respective radio ships!


On leaving College Peter rose through the ranks of the Industry starting with BBC TV in London as a Sound Technician. He left to work as a Sound Mixer for Riva Records and was on the road with live Rock music shows including Johnny Cougar. In 1978 he returned to Broadcasting by joining LBC Radio as a Sound Mixer. Later he was promoted to a Sound Supervisor at ITN (highlighted by sound Mixing the "Royal Wedding" programme) and then followed on to TV-am. On leaving TV-am he became a Broadcast Consultant working freelance in the Industry he built his own Audio Video Post Production studio and formed a successful TV film and location production company. Recently he has helped launch Mentorn Films "Exclusive TV" programme for Channel Five. Currently, he is spending most of his time working with Flextech PLC at The Maidstone Studios for the Challenge TV Channel. This is in conjunction with the launch of European Klassik Rock and Night Tracks.




Dianne trained in Holland as a Music therapist and settled in England in 1987 when she started working in a Psychiatric Hospital as a Therapist. In 1989 she moved into a career in Broadcasting. She rose rapidly though the programme production ranks working for companies such as the BBC (Gardener's World, Chelsea Flower Show and Daytime Live), BSB, Children's Channel, Buena Vista (Disney Club and Disney Time Specials), Carlton (Champion Children), National Film and Television School (Facilities Manager), Channel 4 (Don't forget you Toothbrush & The Real Holiday Show), Sky News, LWT, Live TV. During this time she trained to be Script Supervisor, Producer and Director. She is currently working for Challenge TV. Over the last 6 years, together with her husband Peter Leutner, Dianne has invested a considerable amount of work into European Klassik Rock. Currently, she is putting resources into overseas Marketing and making good use of the four languages she speaks as well as her many media contacts abroad. Jennifer Wisdom

Jennifer Wisdom went to Rainham School for Girls, then Mid Kent College where she was awarded a BTEC National Diploma in Media Studies (Radio & Journalism). Jennifer has had a long term interest in radio and has been a producer and presenter on River Radio. She also helped to set up a college radio station and provided administrative assistance at Canterbury Hospital Radio. Her first taste of professional radio included some experience at BBC Radio Kent, BBC GLR and County Town Radio. Jennifer's enthusiasm for radio has landed her with her first full-time job at EKR where she has rapidly become an extremely valuable member of the team. Since joining she has added considerable computer skills to her list of achievements.

Daniel is European Klassik Rock's Tech Op Manager who organises technical rosters and sorts out all of the station's production requirements in its dedicated studio. He also looks after The Rosko Show and The Klassik Rock Jukebox on Saturdays. From childhood Daniel has been mad about music which soon developed into a fascination with radio. His broadcasting career started as a volunteer with Kent's ILR station during the 1980s. Later he went on to work for numerous RSL broadcasters and has subsequently worked for BBC Radio Kent. Daniel is one of the station's longest serving members having been involved with the project since its conception.
